Almetra Secures €16M to Revolutionize Manufacturing Intelligence in Berlin
Berlin-based Almetra, a manufacturing intelligence company, has secured €16 million in Series A funding to accelerate its platform’s development and expand into the US. The round was led by transatlantic investor Blisce, with participation from NAP, Merantix, Robin Capital, Underline Ventures, and Critical Ventures.
The company, formerly Deltia, uses AI-powered cameras to capture real-time production data—such as cycle times and output rates—without IT integration. Worker privacy is built in: footage is anonymized, and most data remains on-site. As co-founder and CEO Maximilian Fischer notes, “Factories make everything around us, yet most of them are essentially running blind. We give them certainty instead of guesswork.” Clients like Bosch and Siemens Energy report rapid optimizations after adoption.
Almetra’s funding reflects a 2026 surge in industrial AI investments, with Germany at the forefront. Competitors like SPREAD AI and Sereact have also raised significant capital, while Almetra’s inclusion in Google DeepMind’s Robotics Accelerator signals its push toward advanced automation.
Founded in 2022, Almetra now employs 40 people. The new funds will drive product innovation and global expansion, solidifying its role in industrial AI.
