Elephant Company has secured more than €5 million in fresh funding as the Berlin tech startup looks to expand its AI-powered training platform for frontline employees.

The investment round was led by EnBW New Ventures and WEPA. Additional backing came from business angels linked to Flix, home24 SE, SB21, Ventic Ventures and topi.

Founded in 2022, Elephant develops AI-based tools aimed at improving training and communication for deskless workers. The company focuses on frontline industries where employees often have limited access to digital systems compared with office-based teams.

The platform includes a mobile field app, AI assistant, AI course builder and a central management hub for training content and workforce communication. According to the company, the software allows teams to convert operational knowledge into short interactive training modules that can be accessed directly during daily work.

“Elephant addresses one of the core challenges of modern organisations: knowledge loss at a time of rising efficiency pressure,” said Pascal Beckers-Jaleta, principal at EnBW New Ventures. “With deeply embedded AI agents, learning becomes process-near, personalised, and available right at the point of need.”

Elephant says its technology is designed to help companies improve collaboration between frontline workers and management teams. The startup argues that more than 70% of the global workforce consists of deskless employees, many of whom remain underserved by existing workplace technology.

In a LinkedIn post, EnBW New Ventures said Elephant’s AI-powered course builder allows businesses to transform complex internal processes into “interactive micro-learning in just a few clicks.” The investor also highlighted the platform’s AI assistant, which provides “context-aware answers at the point of need.”

Karlsruhe-based EnBW New Ventures typically invests between €1 million and €10 million in European startups focused on digital and sustainable infrastructure.
