Berlin’s INXM Secures €5.7M to Develop AI Process Execution Platform

Berlin-based startup INXM has emerged from stealth with €5.7 million in pre-seed funding to advance its AI-driven process execution platform for enterprise and mid-sized businesses.

The investment round was led by Cherry Ventures and Redstone, with additional backing from Angel Invest, Linden Capital, and several angel investors. The company intends to use the funding to support its first enterprise deployments.

Founded in 2025 by Alex Oelling, Matthias Kainer, Jesper Bylund, and Kamil Klüber, INXM is developing what it describes as a process execution engine built on a concept it calls “Compiled AI.”

The approach combines artificial intelligence with deterministic software execution. Instead of relying on large language models to make decisions during every step of a business process, AI is used to design and optimize workflows in advance. These workflows, known internally as “Plans,” are then executed through a structured system designed to deliver predictable and auditable outcomes.

According to the company, its Orchestrator platform converts user intentions into executable processes and coordinates activities across software systems, employees, and operational workflows. The goal is to automate complex business tasks while maintaining reliability and compliance.

INXM argues that many enterprise AI initiatives struggle because they depend heavily on ongoing AI interpretation, creating inconsistencies and implementation challenges. By separating process design from execution, the company aims to provide the flexibility of AI while preserving the stability typically associated with traditional software.

Chief Technology Officer Matthias Kainer said the model allows businesses to use natural language and AI-generated logic while running deterministic code that can be tested and audited.

The startup positions its technology as an orchestration layer rather than a replacement for existing enterprise systems. It is designed to work alongside tools such as ERP platforms, spreadsheets, email systems, and approval workflows, helping organizations automate operations without large-scale infrastructure changes.

INXM also emphasizes faster implementation timelines, stating that businesses can automate processes within months rather than years.

The company’s leadership team brings experience from industries that require high levels of engineering precision, including aerospace and advanced transportation. Investors believe this background contributes to a practical understanding of the challenges involved in deploying AI within real-world operations.

Built in Europe, the platform offers local deployment options and full data ownership, targeting organizations that must meet strict compliance and governance requirements.
