Berlin’s Memoried Launches NFC Stickers to Revolutionize Travel Souvenirs

Berlin-based travel tech startup Memoried has launched its latest innovation, Memoried Stickers, on Kickstarter. These NFC-enabled stickers transform ordinary souvenirs into interactive portals, allowing users to link photos, videos, and personal notes to their fridge magnets or other keepsakes. A simple tap with a smartphone reveals the memories, creating a seamless blend of physical and digital experiences.

The concept has already gained significant traction. In the month leading up to the launch, Memoried’s teaser campaign on Instagram reached over 3 million people and attracted more than 4,000 new followers organically. Moritz, Co-Founder of Memoried, explained the inspiration behind the product: "People are drowning in digital memories they never look at – and holding physical souvenirs that have lost their story. We built Memoried to close that gap."

The technology is designed for simplicity. Users attach the NFC sticker to the back of any souvenir, link their digital memories via the Memoried app, and share them instantly. Anyone tapping the sticker with their smartphone can access the memories without needing the app or scanning a QR code.

This launch follows Memoried’s successful 2025 Kickstarter campaign for the Smart Travel Canvas, which raised over $100,000 and delivered to 699 backers across 38 countries. The new campaign offers early-bird discounts for the first supporters.
