Berlin Start-Up Remi Health Secures €5 Million to Expand European Diagnostics Platform

Remi Health, a Berlin-based start-up specializing in diagnostics, announced on March 11, 2026, that it has secured €5 million in seed funding to expand its Diagnostics-as-a-Service platform across Europe.

The funding round, led by IBB Ventures, also saw participation from Catalpa Ventures and the MSD Global Health Innovation Fund, as well as existing pre-seed investors. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to €5 million, following an oversubscribed €3 million seed round.

The European diagnostics sector remains fragmented, with companies often required to manage multiple aspects such as sample collection, logistics, lab operations, medical oversight, and compliance with country-specific regulations.

Remi Health aims to address these challenges by providing a digital infrastructure that allows healthcare payers, digital health companies, pharmaceutical firms, and longevity programs to integrate diagnostic testing into their services without the need to rebuild operational frameworks for each new market.

According to the company, its platform has already processed over 1 million diagnostic tests and is currently supporting programs with several major healthcare partners across Europe. Remi Health collaborates with laboratory partners to create a cross-border network designed to support scalable, multi-market diagnostics.

A company spokesperson stated, “Decentralised care only works if diagnostics are accessible, trusted, and seamlessly embedded. We remove complexity, so our partners can focus on product innovation, care models, and post-result patient journeys.”

The new funding will be used to expand Remi Health’s laboratory network across borders and increase coverage throughout Europe. The company also plans to scale decentralized collection methods, including at-home, on-site, and partner-based models, to support diagnostics programs across multiple countries.

Regulatory expansion into new markets and deeper partnerships with payers, pharmaceutical companies, and health solution providers are also on the agenda.

Remi Health is preparing to launch an open diagnostics network, with the long-term goal of processing 100 million diagnostic tests by 2030.

The company envisions itself as the digital layer enabling decentralized diagnostics across Europe. As one investor noted, “As diagnostics move beyond the clinic and become more decentralised, competitive advantage shifts to the underlying infrastructure. Remi Health provides the foundational systems that enable this ecosystem to scale.”

Berlin has increasingly become a hub for health innovation, and Remi Health is seen as a key player in this evolving landscape. An industry observer commented, “Berlin has become one of Europe’s leading hubs for health innovation, and Remi Health is a strong example of the infrastructure companies emerging from this ecosystem. Their platform connects laboratories with the growing demand for decentralised diagnostics—building the kind of scalable, cross-border infrastructure that the market needs.”

Remi Health’s platform is designed to serve payers, digital health companies, longevity programs, pharmaceutical firms, and healthcare providers, allowing them to embed diagnostics into their products through a single integration.

The company operates across multiple European markets, partnering with leading laboratories to combine decentralized collection, lab connectivity, regulatory compliance, medical oversight, and digital patient experiences into a unified solution.

With its latest funding, Remi Health is positioned to further develop its infrastructure and expand its reach, aiming to transform how diagnostics are delivered and managed in Europe.
