Berlin Startups Raised Over €1.7 Billion in Q1 2026 - Here Are All The Deals
Berlin's startup ecosystem recorded 31 deals in the first quarter of 2026, spanning pre-seed rounds, late-stage financing, and several high-profile acquisitions. Total capital commitments exceeded €1.7 billion, driven in part by Cloover's €1.02 billion debt facility — one of the largest financing packages secured by a Berlin startup in recent years.
Late-stage rounds dominated the headlines. Parloa raised $350M in a Series D that tripled its valuation to $3 billion. Upvest landed €108M to expand its investment infrastructure for banks. Flink secured €100M, reviving its quick-commerce platform after a difficult period. Neura Robotics was reported to be in talks for a €1 billion round, while Midas closed €43M for its tokenised assets platform.
AI was the most represented sector, appearing in at least a dozen deals across infrastructure, agents, voice, and automation. Fintech, climate tech, and biotech each contributed several rounds, reflecting the broad range of Berlin's current startup activity.
